"The Lofoten were my absolute photography highlight so far. We explored a breathtaking landscape that, thanks to all that the weather has to offer, showed itself from a completely different side every 5 minutes."

Frequently asked questions

The Jaworskyj photo tours give you the opportunity to explore a country together with other photo enthusiasts. The professional tour guide will show you the best spots and highlights in the area and give you tips on how to stage them. At every spot you have enough time to take your picture without anyone annoying you and wanting to move on quickly. Everything is about photography: in the morning, by day, in the evening and even at night!

The Jaworskyj photo tours are aimed primarily at ambitious amateur photographers who already know the basics of photography. So you should know the connections between ISO, aperture and shutter speed and also master your camera fundamentally.

Basically, you should bring solid footwear and weatherproof clothing. Depending on the country and photo tour, the equipment you need is different. Basically, a camera + lens(es) is enough. However, we will send you an exact checklist about 1 month before the start of the journey.

We strongly recommend to take out a health insurance policy for abroad if you should get sick during the trip and need medical help. In addition, you should take out travel cancellation insurance if you get sick before the tour and can not attend.
Basically, you have the legally required 14 days right of withdrawal, so you can withdraw from the contract within 2 weeks after the confirmation of your booking. If you do not, a deposit will be charged. You have to pay the full amount within two weeks.

No. Experience shows that all participants come from different locations, so it's easier if everyone takes care of their own arrival. That way you can find the cheapest flight from the airport near you, book additional luggage if you need it or reserve a seat with extra legroom - and of course you can extend your trip or arrive earlier. We meet at an agreed time at the airport and then drive to the accommodation together. A checklist with everything that's included in the price can be found below.

This is how your photo tour to the Lofoten Islands in Norway could look like

  • DAY 1 | Arrival at Harstad/Narvik (EVE) Airport

No later than 7 pm, everybody by him/herself. Group departure to the Lofoten. The drive to the property takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the weather and photo stops on our way. We drive through the night to be at Spot 1 just in time for the sunrise (after a little nap).

  • DAY 2 | Landscape Photography at Spot 1 and 2

We arrive at our accommodation on the Lofoten at night. We check in and have a quick nap. In the morning we drive to the first spot. We stay there until after sunrise and then go to the accommodation, where we have breakfast. We sleep until about 2 p.m. and then get up and drive to spot 2.

  • DAY 3 | Spot 3 and Spot 4

We visit photography spots in the morning and in the evening (sunrise + sunset). Depending on the weather and your mood you can take photos, edit or sleep in between.

  • DAY 4 | Spot 5 and Spot 6

We visit photography spots in the morning and in the evening (sunrise + sunset). Depending on the weather and your mood you can take photos, edit or sleep in between.

  • DAY 5 | Spot 7 and Spot 8 / Late Departure

The last full day on the Lofoten begins again with a spot in the morning that will be expanded, depending on the weather conditions. Around noon we take a little nap again, because the night will be short and we want to use the last sunset for photography. Then we pack and leave at around 11:30 p.m. to the airport. We drive overnight back to Harstad / Narvik airport to be there in time (the departure time at the accomodation depends on the earliest flight of the participants).

  • DAY 6 | Departure from Harstad/Narvik (EVE) airport

Due to the different departure times we arrive for the earliest flight of the participants at the airport (between 6 and 7 a.m.).

"The tour was very well organized and professional. We visited the top photography spots always at the right moment for perfect light, that was excellently planned ... and the nature was quiet and beautiful and colorful. To plan this trip just for yourself and without help seems to be impossible or would be extremely time-consuming."
