5 Great Photography DIY Hacks

You want to take great photos but don’t want to spend a lot of money?

Benjamin Jaworskyj shows you 5 photography do-it-yourself hacks

DIY 1: BEAUTY DISH

The main thing you need for this DIY is a Tupperware cake holder. You just cut out a hole for the flash into the top part and cut the reflector from the other part of the cake holder. Sand it thoroughly and paint the inside of the top part white. Drill a hole into the reflector, cut the wire into 3 parts and attach it to the lid. Now your Beauty Dish is ready to use!

DIY 2: BOKEH FILTER

This photography DIY hack is really easy and you don’t need much to do it!
Just cut out the diameter of your lens from the cardboard paper, then draw whatever shape you like, a heart for example, into the center of the cut out. Cut out that shape too and tape it to your lens. Now you can take great photos with a nice bokeh!

DIY 3: DIY BEAN BAG

This photography DIY hack is even simpler than the last one! Just fill a wash cloth with beans, close it with tape and you’re finished!

DIY 4: MACRO LENS

Do you want to take great macro photos but you don’t have enough money to buy a new lens? Try this photography DIY hack! Cut a big hole into your lens cap, screw the cap onto your camera and tape your lens onto the cap – now you have a macro lens!

DIY 5: BOKEH BACKGROUND

For this photography DIY hack you need a TV, a laptop and some Schnapps 😉
Just place your object in front of the TV, connect the TV to your laptop and open a bokeh picture. Now just take your photo!
